Hi! I am Yusuke.
In early October, Apple announced that “"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. I was so shocked! He was a true visionary, a one-in-a-billion creative genius, who changed so many lives.

Firstly, BBC said “Apple co-founder Steve Jobs dies aged 56” In the article, BBC praises him a great deal. They said “As the face of Apple, he represented its dedication to high-end technology and fashionable design.” I think he changed our mind all over the world. What is your reaction to the passing of Steve Jobs?
Secondly, The Voice of America said “World Reacts to Announcement of Steve Jobs Death” .
In the article, I found interesting text. According to VOA, “I read a very touching and kind of surreal tweet tonight, that said the iPhone was named the iPhone 4S - for Steve. The 4-S really standing for Steve."” What do you think?
lastly, I would like you to watch this speech.
I was also shocked to hear the Steve Job’s death. He was surely a pioneer of the time. He made mac computer, i-pod, and i-phone, which are the coolest things at each time. He is one of the most influential people in the world. I actually didn’t know so much about him till I listen to his speech. It is so informative and moving. He had overcome some difficulties and always did his best for what he loves. I reaffirmed that we should do what we really love. Recently, I’m always thinking about jobs and don’t know what to do. As Steve said, I should try to find what I really like, and live my own life.

Yusuke,
ReplyDeleteI removed the paragraph below the link to the speech because it is not your writing - you copied it off a website. Second, you recycled your research paper so I expected this blog post to be even better. Third, the photo link is dead.
Furthermore, you copied the sentence, He was a true visionary, a one-in-a-billion creative genius, who changed so many lives." from somewhere.
You should explain what you mean by this - what did Steve Jobs mean to you?
I expect to see your revised blog.

Yusuke (and others if you like),
ReplyDeleteYou should read Motoki's interesting blog about Steve Jobs - blog #5 on group L's site. Leave a comment on there so I know you saw it.
